"Cobb County Animal Advocates (CCAA) is a public policy organization of citizen activists. Our primary mission is to improve Cobb County's public policy regarding the welfare of its animals, and to influence how Cobb County Animal control implements those policies. We seek to create a No-Kill Cobb, in which all healthy adoptable animals are placed in forever homes with loving Cobb County residents."
The photo above is of a dog named Baby. Baby was one of the few lucky ones, although extremely emaciated she did eventually find rescue. Cobb County's animal-loving citizens are committed to converting our animal control facility into a No-Kill shelter, and we have an Action Plan to accomplish that mission, which describes how Cobb County can implement the No-Kill Equation.
We have had hundreds of Cobb voters join our cause, and more continue to do so as Cobb citizens are becoming aware of our existence. We are actively recruiting animal-lovers from across Cobb
County. We also benefit from the incredible support and expertise
we receive from many animal advocates outside of Cobb County - throughout
Georgia, and from across the United States.
There are many opportunities to make a difference for
animals in Cobb
County. If you love animals, we have ways to
help that might be right for you.
You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?" (George Bernard Shaw)
